Elitehost, founded in July 2005, is a small privately owned company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We started as a small business setup to bring you a stable and affordable hosting solutions. Over time, we have established ourselves in the South African Hosting market and are focussed on becoming one of South Africa's premier web hosting providers, offering complete solutions from shared web hosting to virtual servers.

Elitehost currently provides quality shared, reseller and virtual sever hosting out of world class datacenters in Johannesburg (ZA), Los Angeles (USA) and Maidenhead (UK). We pride ourselves on quality support, minimal down time and a personal touch towards web hosting.

All our shared and reseller based accounts run the cPanel control panel; the most popular web hosting control panel available today. All our servers have at least 8 processing cores with 12gb of ram and four hard drives in RAD10. All shared and reseller accounts come with 30 day money back guarantee and 99.9% uptime guarantee backed by our Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Data loss is not acceptable at Elitehost which is why we offer a strict 3-stage backup procedure:
1) Daily backups (backs up to a different hard drive on the same server).
2) RAID 10 hard drive configuration meaning if one hard drive fails it automatically swaps to a mirror secondary drive ensuring no down time.
3) Daily off-site backup for protection against whole of data centre attacks using R1Soft Continuous Data Protection

All our virtual private servers are available in our Los Angeles (USA) and Johannesburg (ZA). We use OpenVZ virtulization software with SolusVM for easy end user management.

All our accounts come with no contract which means you can step away at any time without the worry of being locked into some long term contract where you need to pay again. We accept the following forms of payment: EFT, Credit Card (MasterCard and Visa) and Debit Order.
